Medical Training Survey
The Medical Training Survey (MTS) is a national, profession-wide survey of all doctors in training in Australia. It is a confidential way to get national, comparative, profession-wide data to strengthen medical training in Australia.
The idea for the MTS came from doctors in training, educators and employers, who all wanted accurate data about the state of medical training in Australia. The Medical Board of Australia leads the delivery of the survey and works closely with doctors in training and other key stakeholders on the development of questions and reporting of results.
Now in its third year, the survey this year will open on Monday 2 August. All interns and international medical graduates will receive an email invitation from the Medical Board of Australia to participate in the survey, with all other doctors in training able to complete the survey when they renew their registration.
